What's up in Alpine?

Alpine is a sleepy/active, quiet/noisy, artsy/practical, outdoor/indoor, healthy/decadent sort of place.

You've probably already got things to do in Alpine and the Big Bend, or you wouldn't be coming, but, there are lots of other things that will be going on and you -- or someone with you -- might want to sample the festivities listed on our Calendar of Events.

There are other things going on, too, so check around when you get to Alpine. There are posters in store windows and on restaurant walls, announcing entertainment and educational events. Or just ask around. The locals know what's going on and you'll be welcome.

If the local doesn't mention a BBQ, ask again. If that doesn't work, ask someone else.
